Hello,

I guess I've always done this one student at a time because I can't figure out a way to get VCAT to let me import in a file of students who now have State ID numbers assigned who were entered into VCAT with a temporary ID number. I am trying to use the Import Assessment Format 1 because I wanted to replace the temporary ID with the one in the import file. It keeps telling me there's no Local ID in the file. Am I missing something or do I need to do this one-by-one?

Thanks,

Kim

Sorry, you have to do it one by one. Because the Local ID is the main
key for the student, the importer will not change it. Once you change
the Local ID, the importer will change the State ID for you.

I could do it directly in the database if it is a lot of students, but
I doubt it would save time because I would need a list with the
current Local ID and the new one in a 2 columns in an Excel file and I
assume creating this would take as long as changing them one by one.
